Farewell to ICON XI

The 11th International Conference on Cognitive Neuroscience (ICON XI) was held on 25-29 September 2011 in Mallorca (Spain), and featured an intense scientific program with 9 keynote lectures, 24 symposia including over 100 speakers, and 4 poster sessions totalling over 500 poster communications. The meeting was attended by circa 750 cognitive neuroscientists from 34 countries, and another 120 people also joined one of the four pre-ICON workshops the previous days.

On behalf of the organizers, I would like to thank you all for your enthusiasm and outstanding contributions that made this conference such a memorable event.

The 12th International Conference on Cognitive Neuroscience (ICON XII) will be held on 27 – 31 July 2014 in Brisbane, the capital city of Queensland, Australia. The conference will be jointly organised by a cross-university program committee headed by Drs. Frini Karayanidis (University of Newcastle), Paul Corballis (Auckland University) and Ross Cunnington (University of Queensland). It will feature an intense scientific program of keynote lectures, symposia, open papers and poster sessions, as well as a number of pre-conference workshops in Brisbane and satellite events in Australia and New Zealand. The organizers invite you to contribute to making this event a worthy successor in the excellent tradition of ICON. Please to book these dates in your diary.
